That may be offensive to some vegetarians but it is more of a compliment than anything. Our baseline is the whole food plant based diet “Thrive” and we have added naturally raised farm fresh pasture raised animal products to form our “Strive” lifestyle diet. We have been on a mission to source out the freshest and most high end organic local animal products in Toronto with the mindset of using as much of the animal as we can to benefit from ALL the vitamins, minerals and nutrients. We take “paleo” (promotes more lean protein with added omega 3 fat supplements) a few steps further (Weston.A.Price style) by welcoming the saturated animal fats to compliment the high quality protein found in grass fed animals (better expressed as “free range pasture raised” because animals can be fed grass in crammed lots or stalls) for muscle repair, hormonal control and brain health. We also use and promote liberal use of healthy fats through organic coconut/MCT oil and organic grass fed butter (yes, we are Bulletproof) which is very high in vitamin K  (the substance that makes the vitamin A- and vitamin D-dependent proteins come to lifeand Butyrate which helps fight inflammation in the body among other things.Butter-Infographic1
