Do you offer a monthly membership?
Strive Life Athletics offers 2 different Membership Plan options. We offer 2 Unlimited Plans – 3 months / 12 weeks and 1 month / 4 weeks. We also offer 2 Limited Plans – Limited 8 and Limited 10, both are 3 month / 12 week commitments. We realize that everyone has preferences so we’ve created these customized plans to better suit your training needs and goals. We also have a variety of Pass Options. I am out of shape! I haven’t worked out in a while!! I’m worried I won’t keep up!!! What if I can’t do everything in the class?
One of the best things about Strive is that everything we do is scalable and there is no fitness criteria to start. The first portion of every class is geared towards movement where you will find a high level of demonstration, instruction and education to ensure you will be moving properly, while getting you prepared for the conditioning aspect of that class, the conditioning aspect of the class is set for you to go at your own pace and everyone works and rests together. Movements can be modified if need be, use your own body weight, do what you can, take breaks when needed. We believe in building people up and not breaking them down!
Is there a beginner class?
We don’t offer a beginner class, however, our method is scalable for all fitness levels. Everyone works and rests together so you will be able to go at your own pace. You won’t feel alone, because we have new people in every class so you should be able to hop right in.
How is Strive different from other fitness classes?
Our Athletic Training classes are divided into 2 main parts, movement and conditioning. The first portion of every class is dedicated to warming up properly and specifically focusing on active mobility and our signature body primer sequence. This is where we prepare our bodies to avoid injury, work on agility and flexibility, simulate the movements we will later have in the conditioning portion of the workout. This is also where our 2 coaches per class will continuously assess the room and everyone who is in it. Making sure everyone is moving properly before adding speed/weight to the conditioning aspect of the workout.
How many calories are burned per class?
We are not a model that encourages counting calories. We care about quality of movement over and above all else and ensure that you always leave feeling better than when you’ve arrived. If you show up and give an honest effort you will get an awesome sweat and leave feeling amazing. But with that said, everyone has different goals, so if the honest effort is put forth, calories will be shredded.
Can I Strive if I am pregnant?
We have pregnant women train with us, modifications can be made to all movements. We suggest listening to your body (depending where you are in your pregnancy and how you are feeling). We also encourage checking with your doctor to ensure your safety.
Do you have childcare in the Athletic house?
No. Unfortunately not.
Do you have locker rooms?
We have 2 bathrooms, each with showers. Lockers are available (bring your own lock).
Do you have water or do I have to bring mine?
We encourage you to bring your own water bottle.
